Buildings Required to Use Fire Brigade Water Intake According to Fire Regulations

1- Leaving connection ports enabling the use of firefighter personnel and trained personnel on the wet or dry fixed pipe system in high-rise buildings and shopping centers with a floor area of more than 1000 m2, parking lots and similar places, or leaving these connection ports such as escape stairs or fire safety halls. It must be in protected areas.
2- The distance from any point to the water intake port cannot be more than 60 m.
3- All hose connections on the fixed pipe installation are storz type 50 mm or 65 mm in diameter in the norms used by the fire brigade.
4- If the connection ports are left in the fixed pipe installation that supplies the water to the sprinkler and fire cabinets of the building, these connections must be made directly over the main columns.
