1 - Physicians who have completed the occupational medicine training program and who have been successful in the examination to be held or to be made by the ministry at the end of the training,

2 - Physician labor inspectors, occupational health science specialists, occupational health science physicians and physicians who have actually worked in the field of occupational health and safety for at least 5 years in the field of occupational health and safety, who have inspected for at least five years in the field of occupational health and safety to those who are successful

3 - Occupational and occupational diseases or occupational medicine minor specialists and public health specialists who received at least 150 hours of theoretical and practical training on occupational health and safety during their specialization training,

4 - Physicians who have a workplace doctor certificate or equivalent document obtained from abroad and whose qualifications are approved by the Ministry, are called "Occupational Physician".

Who Must Have an Occupational Physician?

According to the Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331, workplaces in the dangerous and very dangerous group that employ even 1 worker must have an occupational physician as of 01/01/2014.

What are the Employment Ways of the Occupational Physician?

The company can employ the workplace doctor in its own company staff, or it can be done in the form of service procurement through the OSGB (Joint Health and Safety Unit).
