Easy localization of ferromagnetic objects
The FERROTEC FT 10 helps to safely locate hidden shaft covers, slide bars and covers, as well as pavement markings and other objects. The only requirement is that they are made of iron, cast iron or steel. Its ergonomic design, easy operation and precise measuring technology make your work fast and easy.

Measuring principle: robust technology with ergonomic design

Ferrous objects cause changes in the magnetic field of the soil and they can be picked up by the two magnetic sensitive sensors in the FERROTEC FT 10 (Fluxgate magnetometers) and converted into an acoustic signal.

In addition, it shows on the screen that the object you are looking for is close. The closer you are to the object, the stronger the signal. When you reach the maximum signal strength, the FERROTEC FT 10 is just above the object.

Fast and reliable results

FERROTEC FT 10 recognizes 50 Hz alternating fields and thus guides the power cables to the exact location, avoiding false detections/entanglement and protecting you from electric shock while digging.
FERROTEC FT 10 recognizes polarity changes on large objects, eg shaft covers. Depending on the orientation of the object - it means that you can classify its position and size.

Easy handling for effortless measurements
FERROTEC FT 10 allows you to work around the clock or even all day, without being tired. Its lightweight, well-balanced construction and ergonomic design are extremely comfortable to carry.
Easily carry and operate your magnetometer with one hand - it doesn't matter if you're right- or left-handed. Your other hand is kept completely unbound for work.
The device can be intuitively operated without extensive training and using only five buttons, they can also be pressed using the carrying hand. Simply by placing your thumb on the capacitive sensor area, you can activate the FERROTEC FT 10 very conveniently and quickly start and stop locating procedures.

In addition to the acoustic signal, you can choose between the unique aiming circle view and the traditional bar view. This, in turn, helps less experienced users reliably find the maximum value.
Thanks to its IP65 protection class and extremely robust construction, dirt, dust and rain are not a problem. You can work in all weather conditions and it is always ready for deployment.
Benefit from the long operating time of the integrated rechargeable battery: One charge is enough for 10 hours, i.e. a full day's operation - This means there will be no more cumbersome battery changes and increased availability.


Precise location in all environments

Thanks to the outstanding sensitivity of 3 nT (Nanotesla), the FERROTEC FT 10 is one of the most powerful magnetometers on the market. It is six times more sensitive than its predecessor and means the ability to explore objects at lower depths. We chose not to use magnetic earphones so that the high position would not deform the sensitivity.

It removes the current magnetic field with the zero point key so that it can immediately detect changes in the field and safely rule out surrounding interference. The FERROTEC FT 10 sensitivity can be adjusted to six levels and is thus individually adapted to environmental influences.

In addition, with the sensitivity boost function you can maximize the sensitivity of the relevant reaches and even greater depths to confirm uncertain results.

Non-ferrous objects, such as precious metals, cannot be detected and do not distort the measurement result.
