Description: The Heavy Duty Vacuum Pycnometer Test Set is used to determine the theoretical maximum specific gravity of uncompressed bituminous pavement mixtures. The Vacuum Pycnometer can also be used to calculate the percentage of air voids in compacted bituminous mixtures and the amount of bitumen absorbed by the aggregates. Vacuum Pycnometer has a capacity of 10 liters and is made of transparent plastic material.
