Description: FR-AS 247 Vibrator Hammer Set is used to prepare test specimens of bituminous mixtures using vibratory compaction technique.

Such examples include maximum density as defined in EN 12697-5, bulk density as defined in EN 12697-6, void characteristics as defined in EN 12697-8, reference as defined in EN 12697-9. It is used to determine the density or compressibility of bituminous mixtures as defined in EN 12697-10.

Vibrator Rammer has double insulated motor and trigger arm for Asphalt Compaction Density Test.

The FR-AS 247 Vibrator Hammer Set is supplied with Vibrating Hammer, Hammer Frame, Small and Large Clamping Head and 300 mm Transfer Shaft.

PRD Slotted formwork is used to determine the degree of compaction of bituminous pavements for quality control purposes. It is coated against corrosion. It is attached to the base plate with a clamp.

PRD Slotted Die and Base Plate must be ordered separately.

The set is also used for compaction of proctor and CBR Soil samples.

Hammer Frame for Vibrator Hammer; The total weight of the Compression Head (including the ram and the compaction head) is 37 kg, as required by EN standards. It is made of steel and coated against corrosion.
