Description: Measures the compressive strength of concrete, mortar and brick in situ, quickly and accurately. A non-explosive tool, the Windsor® Pin System uses a spring-loaded device to drive a steel pin into concrete (mortar or other material). The penetration depth of the needle is related to the compressive strength of the material being tested. Removable chuck and small pin size make testing mortar joints easy; It is the only system for testing the in situ strength of brick mortar joints.
