As Günyıldız Metal, fast welding processes are carried out with gas metal arc welding in our 3000 m2 closed area production facility in Ostim. The reason why gas arc welding is preferred;

– Since electrodes with a smaller diameter are used than in MMA arc welding, it has high current density and high metal deposition rate in the same current range.
– The weld metal obtained by gas arc welding has a low hydrogen content, which is especially important in hardening steels.
– Because deep penetration can be achieved in gas arc welding, it sometimes allows small corner welds and provides a more uniform root penetration than covered electrode arc welding.
– Although thin materials are often joined by TIG welding with or without additional metal, gas metal arc welding gives better results for welding thin materials than covered electrode arc welding.
– It is very suitable for use in both semi-automatic and fully automatic welding systems.
