Conventional impact crushers are used as secondary crushers to crush rock and gravel. The material is broken by the rotor blades hitting the replaceable crushing bars. The crushing bars are replaced when they are worn. The lower break bar is adjusted with a shim. Conventional impact crushers work in conjunction with an electric motor and a belt-pulley.
