In short, electrostatic powder coating is the process of coating the product surface with paint without using solvents in the product. This coating material is very fine powder paint particles that form the top coat layer.

Powder paint to be used; It is thrown with special paint guns in special paint booths. This process is carried out by carrying the powder paint to the spray gun with the air flow and pulverizing it in the paint booth as a dust cloud. Coating process takes place with the adhesion of the paint on the product in the cabinet. In order for the powder paint to fully adhere to the product, the product must be well grounded.

In order to reuse the paint that is thrown away during the painting process or the paint that does not adhere to the product, it is separated from the air by the suction system in the cabinet and brought back to use. Because of this recovery of the paint, the efficiency of the electrostatic powder coating process is very high and close to 100%.

After the product is covered with powder paint, it is inserted into the baking ovens. In baking ovens at 200°C, the powder paint melts and flows on the product, polymerizes and adheres to the product as a result of chemical hardening. As a result, a very durable, economical, environmentally friendly, glossy surface coating with different color alternatives is obtained.
