Definition

One component, polymer modified, waterproofing material resistant to positive and negative water pressure, curing in contact with air and water.

Application

• The surface to be applied must be free of dirt, dust, oil and any loose material.
• The material should be applied in at least two coats.
• Absorbent surfaces should be thoroughly saturated with water before application.
• The application should be started when the surface is still damp,
• Slowly add KALSEAL-1 to 6 liters of water in a clean container and mix with a low-speed mixer for at least 3 minutes. mix.
• After resting the material for 5 minutes, make a short mixing process. The rest period must be strictly adhered to.
• The material can be applied to the surface with a trowel or brush. In applications to be made with a brush, water can be added until it reaches a consistency that can be applied.
• The second coat should be applied at least 24 hours after the first coat is applied.
• Before the surface is opened for use, the material should be allowed to complete its curing for a minimum of 24 hours (at 250C for 2mm. thickness), during this time contact with water should be avoided.
• In exterior applications, it must be protected from direct sun, wind, rain and frost for the first 24 hours.
• The material reaches its final strength after 21 days. Curing times vary depending on application thickness and temperature.
• It should be noted that the surface temperature to be applied should not be lower than 100C and higher than 400C.

Cleaning of Tools
Used tools can be cleaned with water before drying.
