AREAS OF APPLICATIONS / It is a widely used material in this field because of its good chemical resistance, especially against acids. Due to its lower temperature resistance (65 °C) and high density, it leaves its place to Polypropylene in coating boilers and acid tanks applications. It has weldability and bondability. It has the feature of being welded more easily than polypropylene. Wear resistance is not very good. PVC is a more costly material than Polypropylene. It is mostly used in chemical devices and machines, packaging and coating industry.
