General Features of IR Series Gearboxes

General features of IR series gearboxes IR series, consisting entirely of helical gears, are our gearboxes designed to work under continuous load and heavy conditions. Gear material is made of high grade steel 16MnCr5 or physically equivalent materials suitable for these reducers and ground. Gear hardness is 57 HRC.

The body structure, which is produced with high quality casting technology, is made of GG20 pig material as a single body (monoblock). Helical gear reducers are generally used in applications requiring high torque and efficiency. IR series gearboxes have easy assembly and flexible use.

Helical reducers are coaxial units where the gearbox output shaft is in line with the motor shaft. In helical gears, staggered contact between each of the teeth is opened at angles that allow. This innovation ensures smooth and quiet operation.

These gearboxes are always produced with full output shaft.

In our gearboxes, IEC B5 and IEC B14 Pam flange applications are also made upon request. There are also shrink-ring and one-way bearing (locked bearing) applications.
