The Chemical Treatment Plant is used for the treatment of waste water whose units are of industrial nature and contain non-biodegradable materials. In chemical treatment, substances dissolved or suspended in water are precipitated by adding chemical substances (coagulant, polyelectrolyte, etc.) to the water, and they are separated from the water as mud.

With the chemical treatment process, parameters such as suspended solids, COD, BOD, heavy metals and phosphorus are separated from the water.
Chemical treatment systems can be built in the form of steel construction or reinforced concrete, depending on the content of the waste water and the preferences of the customers.

Chemical treatment systems; It covers a number of treatment processes applied to ensure their precipitation by changing the physical state of some dissolved or suspended substances in water. During the application of the chemical treatment process, various chemicals are thrown into the waste water with the appropriate pH value, that is, they are added to the waste water (coagulant, polyelectrolyte, etc.), then the substances to be precipitated are separated from the existing waste water in the form of sludge.

The processes applied during chemical treatment are a number of processes in which water pollutants that cannot be removed from wastewater by other methods and dissolved in water are converted into compounds with low solubility by chemical reactions or by precipitating colloidal and suspended substances by forming clumps.
