Chimney or exhaust caps, called jet-caps, are ventilation equipment that allows the waste gases released from the chimney mouth and ventilation systems to be discharged into the atmosphere on a vertical axis in a fast and pressurized manner in accordance with environmental regulations.

They are manufactured from galvanized or stainless sheet according to preference. It is designed to prevent rain water from entering the chimney in case of rain, and there is a drainage throat for the water to drain.
