It consists of the composition of low molecular weight methyl methacrylate acid groups of methacrylate resin in powder form, which increases the resistance of concrete and stone surfaces against abrasion, freezing / thawing and chemical substances and reduces their permeability. It is a transparent, low density surface impregnation material that dissolves in aromatic solvents and penetrates deeply into concrete, stone and brick surfaces.

It reduces the permeability of the surface on which it is applied against water and salt solutions. Acrylic resin is both exceptionally resistant to external influences and abrasion, and does not change the appearance of the surface when applied correctly. While it provides a coating under the surface by penetrating the surface, it does not form a film layer in the application area.

It can be applied on concrete, stone, brick and plaster, thanks to its UV resistance feature on interior and exterior facades. It is especially ideal for protecting concrete areas that need to be repaired and protected. It also gives excellent results in the coating of exposed aggregates, paved areas and porous surfaces exposed to bad weather conditions. It reduces the dusting problem by increasing the chemical and abrasion resistance of the surfaces in the coated field concretes. Plas'coll Acrylic Sealer is much more advantageous than other hardening systems, especially on concrete surfaces such as airports, aprons, runways, parking lots and taxiways, roads and areas subject to heavy traffic.

APPLICATION:

1. Surface Preparation;

All surfaces must be clean, dry, sound and free of oil before application. The newly poured concrete must be at least 28 days old and must be free of all dust, lefans, plaster residues and curing membrane layers. Worn surfaces should be brushed with a wire brush to remove dense dust, loose and brittle materials on them.

Pressurized water application or sandblasting may be more effective for large surfaces. After the pressurized water application, the surface should be left to dry in dry air for at least 7 days. All cracks and damaged areas should be repaired just before the Plas'coll Acrylic Sealer application.

2.Plas'coll Acrimer Sealer Application

Plas'coll Acrylic Sealer should be applied to the surface with a brush, roller or airless spray. The accumulations on the surface should be distributed with a brush in order to prevent the formation of a layer. The material is absorbed by the surface approximately 10 minutes after it is applied. Subsequent coats can be applied until the surface is saturated, no longer accepting any more material.

3. After Application

Usually airports, runways 1st floor 0.1 l / m ^2, 2nd floor on the apron and taxiway average of 0.15 l / m ² to be used. It is necessary to wait 1-3 hours between each coat. Avoid using too much material, as it can form a shiny, slippery film.

4. Equipment Cleaning

All brushes and tools should be cleaned with Plas'coll Acrylic Sealer special solvent after application.

5. Considerations in Application

Plas'coll Acrylic Sealer is a flammable material. Its flash point is above 32 ^° C. In case of fire, extinguishers such as foam, dry chemical, carbon dioxide or water mist should be used.

6. Health and Occupational Safety

With the use of rubber gloves and protective clothing, it should be cleaned with a dry cloth or oakum and cleaning creams when the material comes into contact with the skin. If the material comes into contact with the eyes, it should be washed with plenty of water and the doctor should be consulted if the discomfort continues.

7. Storage

The minimum shelf life is 12 months. The cap should be closed immediately after use. It should be consumed within two weeks after opening. It should be stored in a cool and dry place.
