Wet alarm check valve used as Wet Alarm Valve is a modified version of a normal check valve for fire system. On this valve, test equipment, engine gong, pressure switch and delay cell are mounted. The motor gong is used for mechanical and pressure switch electrical alarms.

In the event of a fire, the pressurized water at the tip of the sprinkler is discharged to the environment without delay. At this moment, the flow switch in the section where the fire broke out is activated, and a signal is sent to the fire detection system electrically. The wet alarm valve opens and allows the pressurized water from the pump station to go to the sprinkler, at the same time, water is sent to the delay cell with the help of the channels on it, and then the electrical water from the pressure switch receives a mechanical alarm from the motor gong.

Wet Alarm Valve System is the most widely used type compared to other systems and is generally used in non-freezing sections, hotels and business centers.
